Date/Time: Every second Friday of the month from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (December 8, 2023) Teaching Artists: Crystal Marshall Cost: $40 per person per session Preregistration required *Desktop users: scroll up to find your shopping cart in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. Every second Friday of the month, join teaching artists Jem Morris and Crystal Marshall inside SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center for Art After Dark! Art After Dark: Painting will be led by artist Jem Morris who will provide step-by-step instructions in abstract painting. Art After Dark: Collage will be led by artist Crystal Marshall who will provide step-by-step instructions in collage art. Wine will be served and all materials are provided. This class is appropriate for everyone ages 21 and over. The cost of each class is $40.00 per person. All skill levels are welcome. Preregistration is required. Questions? About Our Teaching Artist: An LA native, Jem Morris completed her BFA at Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2019. She has explored many styles including surrealism, abstraction, landscape, figurative painting, and pet portraits in the traditional mediums of oil, acrylic, watercolor, graphite, and charcoal. One of SPAM’s most popular teachers, Jem recently won a prize for her entry in The 13th Annual Art About Agriculture exhibition.  About Our Teaching Artist: Crystal Marshall is an elementary school teacher and loves using art to teach other subjects, like history, to her students. Marshall has been making collage art since her teens and has been hosting art parties since her time at the University of Redlands. |
