California Museum Of Art Thousand Oaks hosts a children’s book reading taking place Saturday, February 29, at 2:00 PM. Admission is free.
The museum is located on the second floor of The Oaks mall. The reading will include a Q&A and a book signing with the authors, and complements CMATO’s current art exhibition, “Empathy: Beneath the Surface.”

    WHAT:

When Mouschi the cat goes with Peter to a secret annex, he meets a girl named Anne Frank. Bright, kind and loving, Anne dreams of freedom and of becoming a writer whose words change the world. But Mouschi, along with Anne and her family, must stay hidden, hoping for the war to end and for a better future.

Join the California Museum of Art Thousand Oaks for a reading of “The Cat Who Lived with Anne Frank” with authors David Lee Miller and Steven Jay Rubin. Illustrated by the award-winning Elizabeth Baddeley, this poignant children’s book paints a picture of a young girl full of hope in a moment of oppression and prejudice, who wonders what mark she will leave on the world, and who above all, believes in the goodness of all people.

The reading will be followed by a Q&A and a book signing with the authors.
