Hunter Biden repeatedly has waffled on the topic of whether that laptop computer, and all the information about various Biden family scandals it contained, was his.
He left it unclaimed at a repair shop and it’s been a thorn in Joe Biden’s side ever since the information it contained became widely known.
Critically, several times Hunter has denied being able to confirm that it is his. Only days ago, the New York Post reported Hunter Biden said he was “embarrassed” by its contents.
But, the report said, he “still denies it or contents are his.”
Yet that hasn’t stopped him from suing someone who is accused of releasing the contents.
A report from Just the News explains Hunter Biden has sued former Trump aide Garrett Ziegler for his alleged role in publishing private emails and images from the infamous laptop.
The legal filing claims Ziegler of inappropriately “accessing, tampering with, manipulating, altering, copying and damaging computer data that they do not own.” The claim cites California’s computer fraud laws.
Ziegler is accused, with others, of obtaining the Biden details and distributing them on the internet through emails, postings, images and videos.
Hunter Biden wants damages to be determined by a jury.
“While Defendant Ziegler is entitled to his extremist and counterfactual opinions, he has no right to engage in illegal activities to advance his right-wing agenda,” Hunter Biden’s lawyers charged.
“Yet that is precisely what Defendant Ziegler and his so-called ‘nonprofit research group’ … have done.”
The FBI has, in fact, verified the authenticity of the machine, the Post reported.
Hunter Biden also is suing the repairman on similar claims.
