Moorpark | Multiple Suspects Arrested from Nuisance Residence – Drugs, Ammo, Identity Theft

On August 21, 2019, deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office – Moorpark Police Station continued their investigation into the residents of a house in the 4800 block of Juarez Ave, in the City of Moorpark. Since April of 2019, deputies have made eleven arrests of residents or visitors to the residence. Some of the individuals have been arrested multiple times.

On April 25, 2019, deputies from the Moorpark station conducted a probation search and arrested resident Nicholas Lombardo for being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On June 5, 2019, deputies from the Thousand Oaks station and Moorpark station served a search warrant at the residence related to identity theft. Mayra Manriquez was arrested for theft and being under the influence of a controlled substance; Nicole Ramirez was arrested for being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition; Ricardo Aguilar was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance; and Monica Angel was arrested for a felony warrant and multiple counts of identity theft.

On August 13, 2019, deputies from the Moorpark station stopped a vehicle leaving the residence. The driver, Ricardo Aguilar, was again arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. A search of his vehicle revealed approximately five ounces of heroin and an ounce of methamphetamine. That quantity of drugs translates into about 1300 doses of heroin and 280 doses of methamphetamine. He also had money on him believed to be profit from drug sales. He was additionally arrested for possessing both drugs for sale.

On August 14, 2019, deputies from the Moorpark station contacted Mary Hernandez after she walked away from the residence. She showed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance and was arrested. A search of her person revealed several grams of methamphetamine. She was additionally arrested for possessing the drug.

On August 21, 2019, deputies from the Moorpark station conducted a probation search at the residence. Nicholas Lombardo was again arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing methamphetamine. He was also arrested for the felony charge of maintaining a place where drugs are used or sold. Nicole Ramirez was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Barbara Tocher was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Simona Cuevas was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. While at the police station, she attempted to pass off toilet water as a urine sample. She was additionally arrested for the felony of attempting to present false evidence.

All eleven subjects were booked for the above detailed charges and they have various court dates pending.

This ongoing investigation has shown this residence to be a nuisance to the community. The Moorpark Police Department is working with the absentee homeowner to remedy the situation.
