Oxnard Police Department – Incident Press Release
On June 19th, 2019, at 2:54 p.m., Oxnard police officers responded to the 1400 block of W. Date Street in reference to a call of a shooting. The victim was traveling on the residential street when another vehicle blocked his path. The suspect who blocked the motorist proceeded to exit and shoot multiple times through the victim’s windshield. The suspect described as a white male, mid-twenties fled the scene in his vehicle. The 39 year-old shooting victim sustained gunshot wounds to his upper torso and face. The victim was transported to VCMC and is listed in guarded condition.
