Santa Paula Police Department – Incident Press Release
On Thursday, July 18, 2019, at approximately 10:36 AM, the Santa Paula Police Department conducted a probation search at a residence in the 200 block of E. Ventura Street. Two people who are currently on active Ventura County Probation for narcotic related offenses with “full” search terms reside at the location. Upon officer’s arrival, a wanted subject, Brian Luna (31) of Santa Paula, was standing in the driveway of the residence, but fled on foot west through backyards of several residences. After a brief search, Luna was located on the roof of a residence in the 200 block of S. Palm Street. With the assistance of the Ventura County Fire Department who provided a ladder, Luna was subsequently taken into custody. Luna was charged with vandalism, possession of a controlled substance, and resisting obstructing or delaying a peace officer in addition to his outstanding warrants for misdemeanor vandalism, misdemeanor disobeying a court order and felony possession of a weapon. A female was also contacted outside of the residence, Trishia Gonzalez
(40) of Santa Paula, who was found to be in possession of a methamphetamine smoking pipe and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
