Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release
Simi Valley Police responded to the 3800 block of Diller Court after receiving a radio call of a man attacking his roommates with a hammer. When officers arrived, they found that an assault with a deadly weapon had occurred and the victims sustained minor injuries. The suspect, 42-year-old Elpidio Peralta Antonia, secured himself in the house and refused to exit after being ordered to do so. After an extended period of time, officers entered the home and arrested Antonia, with the assistance of a Police K9.
Antonia was booked into the Ventura County Jail for assault with a Deadly Weapon, Felony Vandalism, Elder Abuse and Resisting Arrest. The victims sustained only minor injuries and were not hospitalized.
