Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release
On August 18, 2020, Detectives from the Simi Valley Police Department’s Special Operation Unit served a search warrant in the City of Los Angeles and arrested a known drug dealer, Jonathan Olortegui, 33 years.
This was a result of an investigation originating in Simi Valley where it was learned that Olortegui was selling pharmaceuticals and illicit drugs. As a result of the search warrant, approx. 10,000-13,000 Alprazolam (Xanax) pills, 2.2 kilograms of Cocaine, a wide variety of other drugs, two handguns and $99,747 in US currency was recovered. Olotegui was booked into the Ventura County Main Jail for Illicit Drug Sales, Possesion of drugs with intent to sell, and possession of illegal firearms.
