On the evening of June 22, 2019, a group of car enthusiasts met in the parking lot of Neptune’s Net located at 42505 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA.  They were there after the restaurant had closed. While at the location, Daniel Maldonado became involved in a dispute with a 23 year old male over a previously unresolved issue.
