    Ventura | Vagrant Suspect in Vehicle Burglary

    Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release

    On September 29th at 11:08 AM, the Ventura Police Department Command Center received a call of a suspicious subject possibly attempting to enter a vehicle near the intersection of Sullivan St. and Britten Ln. The caller reported seeing the suspect, later identified as Christopher Fuentes, DOB: 12/16/91, Vagrant, pushing the window down of a parked vehicle. Officers responded to the call and detained Fuentes, who was found inside the vehicle.

    During the investigation, officers determined the vehicle did not belong to Fuentes and he entered it to steal property. Fuentes was arrested for burglary and a parole violation. He is currently on parole for burglary.

    According to the Ventura County Superior Court website, Fuentes has prior convictions for petty theft, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, burglary and escaping custody.
